Tammy: What were you put on this Earth to do? In other words, what’s your life’s purpose?
Wendy: Create and do things in a certain way that others will appreciate.
Tammy: What role does your work play in your life? How does it embody your values?
Wendy: My work is my life, my life is my work.
Tammy: What message would you like to give to other women?
Wendy: If you want to do something, do it, do it in your own particular way, and let your intuition guide you. Don’t hold back, go for it. And dream big.
Tammy: Tell us about your relationship with clothing? What do you think about the act of get dressed? What role does clothing serve for you? Does it hold a certain meaning or significance?
Wendy: I love to dress up! 🙂 Unfortunately working from home doesn’t really require a stunning outfit, so therefore I create my own show by doing photoshoots with my artworks! I love to select outfits that are in the middle of glamour and conservative, finding that sweet spot.
Tammy: How has your relationship with clothing changed throughout your career?
Wendy: As a director of a cosmetics staffing agency, I always dressed to the nines. As an artist, I’m definitely more casually dressed. Also wearing less makeup. Even makeup-less days!
Tammy: Describe an outfit of yours that makes you feel like Wonder Woman when you wear it.
Wendy: Oh I have many fabulous dresses! I would say my perfect Wonder Woman outfit is a dress that is made of high-quality, plain fabric, like wool(mix) or silk(satin) with a high neckline. It has 3/4 fitted sleeves, and ends just on the knees. Some interesting details — like a bow, buttons, cape, color or something that gives it a unique touch — make it a head turner.
And chic, perfect high heels, for example pumps by Aquazzura or Louboutin.
