Wonder Woman Rosalinda Nieuwboer-Cuvalay
Owner RNC Events, Services & Support
Founder Fempreneur & Entrepreneur in the City

I see myself as a social entrepreneur who focuses, among other things, on empowering entrepreneurs. Born in Rotterdam, raised in Alkmaar, and living in Almere for 19 years. I am the mother of a passionate and enterprising daughter of nine, who inspires me on a daily basis. And married to my best friend in life/love, for almost 20 years.

I come from a line of people who are very headstrong. We can follow very well, but we prefer to lead 😉😅 I like meeting people and hearing their stories.

In addition, I have always had a passion to organize something and connect people. I’ve always been taught that despite a different background (social or economic) you can always learn from each other. This broadens your horizon in a positive way by taking a look at someone else’s life or background. Therefore, diversity has been always been a big theme in my life.

Wonder Women of the Week: Rosalinda’s Mission

Tammy: What were you put on this Earth to do? In other words, what’s your life’s purpose?

Rosalinda: To empower people within their own strengths and potential strengths. To connect people with one another and preferably with people outside their usual bubble. And make them reconnect with a slower pace of life.

Tammy: What role does your work play in your life? How does it embody your values?

Rosalinda: Work is something I take pleasure in. And more than ever I seek out work that gives me energy, and fulfillment and directly or indirectly has an impact on our society. Therefore I seek out jobs with a deeper purpose.

Wonder Women of the Week: Words of Encouragement

Tammy: What message would you like to give to other women?

Rosalinda: “You either walk inside your story and own it or you stand outside your story and hustle for your worthiness.” – Brené Brown

My message to other women: own your strengths and your uniqueness, it may be seen. Be happy with what you have to offer yourself and this world. Recharge on a regular basis, so your light can continue to shine from within.

Tammy: Tell us about your relationship with clothing. What do you think about the act of getting dressed? What role does clothing serve for you? Does it hold a certain meaning or significance?

Rosalinda: From a young age, I have had weight issues and years of being bullied because of it. At a certain point, this resulted in a ‘love-hate relationship’ with clothing. But whenever it is the season of love, I can appreciate how clothing can have an uplifting effect. How the use of color can literally change the game for me at that moment.

Influence of Clothing

Tammy: How has your relationship with clothing changed throughout your career?

Rosalinda: The relationship has become more balanced. More love rather than hate 🤎

Outfit that Makes Me Feel Like Wonder Woman

Tammy: Describe an outfit of yours that makes you feel like Wonder Woman when you wear it?

Rosalinda: My power dress, no one knows which item it is but me. It is a dress I have had for some years now. Even in times when she doesn’t fit me, I still have her as a reminder of all the adventures we had and will have. So, I can’t describe it, because she is like my invisible superwoman cape. 😉
